James trained at the NCDT DRAMA SCHOOL QUEEN MARGARET'S in Edinburgh.

He is an experienced voice-over artist voicing for TV, radio, commercials, video games, and has a real flare for accents.

James is also an experienced screen actor, with credits including BBC's RAIN DOGS, BEING HUMAN for the BBC, DA VINCI'S DEMONS (Series 2 and 3) for Starz, Feature Film ONE CHANCE, and Camden Film Co's ACCESS ALL AREAS.

Stage credits include BEFORE I LEAVE for National Theatre Wales, HAUNTING JULIA for The Albany Theatre, JACK AND THE BEANSTALK for Torch Theatre, and GULLIVER for Hijinx.

James played Shanghai in the immersive MONEY HEIST THE EXPERIENCE for Netflix, Fever and Bearded Kitten. He also played Captain George Carew in Picture This Productions' interactive video MARY ROSE TIME DETECTIVES.
